and portable. Best of all, this change allows anyone to go wireless!
The system still uses the very intuitive PDA screen format of drop-down menus for
challenging students, but considerably more options reside in the programming.
NEW POWER SUPPLY:
The use of a rechargeable DC battery totally eliminates the need to be connected,
unless you want to be.
INTERIOR SUPPLY RESERVOIRS:
The IV catheterization, NG tube lavage and gavage, urinary catheterization, and
optional trauma bleeding leg all have interior systems of storage to eliminate
extraneous elements.
REACTIVE PUPILS:
Simply lift the eyelid and shine your light into the eye and watch it react, unless
you’ve chosen a different plight for each eye.
EXPANDED LUNG AND HEART SOUND LIBRARY:
Nursing and emergency personnel will appreciate the extensive sound selection so
important to proper diagnostic auscultation skills training and review.
SPECIALIZED HEAD:
There exists no other manikin in this class that gives you mucus dripping, mouth
foaming, CO2 discharge, cyanosis (lips and fingernails), and flushed lips in
association with the durable skin.
IO STERNUM AND LEG:
Developed in conjunction with major intraosseous application companies, these
features allow the skills of insertion and withdrawal to be economically practiced in
either the sternum or the leg.
ECG INTERPRETATION:
Updated choices include adjustment of PR intervals, ST segments and inversion,
and rate control to within 3 bpm.
